In the past few months I have received a lot of interesting feedback on being on a diet ( or the health kick that I am not on). Let’s clear the air shall we? What is a diet?
a :food and drink regularly provided or consumed
b :habitual nourishment
c :the kind and amount of food prescribed for a person or animal for a special reason
My choice to honor my body by consuming food that will nourish, protect and give me a better quality of life isn’t a fad diet it’s a LIFESTYLE !! We live in a society where our “normal” is fast food, fried food and processed foods. Foods high in MSG, GMO’s and High Fructose Corn Syrup are the norm and is regarded as acceptable. How about we change that? Let’s make eating well ” normal” and eating crap a “diet”. If you asked me your “diet” by our current definition and standards is killing us. Don’t make faces at the person making good choices at the lunch line, how about we encourage those making bad choices to do better! Let’s make healthy the NEW NORMAL!!!!
