So a friend sent me this recipe but I hated all of the ingredients ( except the beans) So I over hauled it and BAMMMMM!! Black Bean Brownies. I promise you can’t taste the beans and it tastes just like a regular brownie. Try it! you won’t be disappointed.
2 Cups of cooked black beans ( you can use canned but I prefer to boil my own, I am not a fan of canned food)
3 Eggs ( the fresher the better…. find yourself a chicken j.k!)
1/3 Cup of coconut oil
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 Teaspoons of vanilla extract
3 Tablespoons of Pb powder (optional)
1/4 cup of cocoa powder
1/2 Cup quick cook oats( I like the publix brand)
1/2 cup of raw honey ( you can use regular if you’d like)
1/4 cup of walnuts (optional)
Blend Beans, eggs, honey, vanilla, coconut oil and cocoa powder in food processor until smooth. Pour mix into greased glass pan- with coconut oil ( 8×8 or 9×9). Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over batter and place in preheated oven (350). Bake for 45-50 minutes.
